HERE'S WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that even a small investment in women and their creativity can bring about big changes. That's why we started PeaceQuilts in Haiti almost twenty years ago!
PeaceQuilts, a 501(c)(3) economic development project, provides equipment, supplies, training, educational opportunities, and other support to help Haitian women establish small independent sewing cooperative businesses so they can earn a living wage - to feed their families, improve housing and educate their children. Each purchase in our online store helps support member-owned sewing cooperatives where women create beautiful, artisan-made products, as well as striking one-of-a-kind original folk art quilts - all inspired by Haiti's rich artistic and cultural heritage.
